Microfiche at The Fondren

In November we, Sage Griffee and Jadyn Cleary, went to the Fondren Library. The purpose of this trip was to find newspaper articles in the Houston Post about the opening of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was very overwhelming to see how many decades of newspapers there were. Luckily we had done some research and were able to find an exact date to look at. At first, it was difficult to use the microfiche, but we soon got the hang of it. Although we did not find an article relating to the museum it was still a great training opportunity and a fun experience.
